The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor with a focused clinical and academic interest in Leukemia and Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation. The selected candidate will participate in clinical activities within Hematology and Oncology, including inpatient and outpatient care, and will contribute to the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
Applicants must possess an M.D. degree or equivalent from an LCME-accredited medical school and have successfully completed an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program. Completion of fellowship training in Hematology and/or Oncology is required. Candidates must have specialized training and experience in the inpatient and outpatient evaluation and management of patients undergoing stem cell transplantation, with a particular emphasis on allogeneic transplant and leukemia care. Applicants must be board certified in Internal Medicine and eligible for Texas medical licensure. Board certification in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology is preferred.
